Price to join in a worldwide prayer for the Apostle as he faces the health challenges posed by COVID-19. “Today, I am calling on all members and friends of Crenshaw Christian Center New York and on everyone everywhere who has been touched by the teaching of Apostle Frederick K.C. Price, 89, founded the 28,000-member Los Angeles-based Crenshaw Christian Center, which is led by his son, Fred Price Jr.Īn announcement from Minister Baltimore Scott, the staff administrator for the center's New York operations, shared concerns about Price’s health Sunday, along with a global call for prayer. We as a family, and ministry, are standing strong for Apostle Frederick Price!” said Copeland, who leads the Texas-based Kenneth Copeland Ministries. He ran onto the platform and shouted, ‘I am ready Freddy!’ What a man of God! What a man of faith and power! I don’t believe this disease can kill him. “The first time I heard Fred Price in person was in Tulsa, Oklahoma. We’ve stayed in each other’s homes and have watched each other’s children grow up! We have truly lived life together,” Copeland said in a statement on Facebook urging prayers for Price Wednesday. We have laughed together, cried together, and preached together. “For almost 50 years, Fred and Betty Price have been wonderful friends of our family. ![]() ![]() Price hospitalized with a ravaged heart, lungs and kidneys, sparking a global call for prayers, fellow televangelist Kenneth Copeland said he doesn’t believe the virus will kill his longtime friend. | Ever Increasing Faith Ministries Kenneth Copeland MinistriesĪfter a weekslong bout with COVID-19 left famed televangelist Frederick K.C. ![]() IPTC is supported, but again, not to Adobe's standard. Cataloging options are many, but not as extensive as LR6 or PhotoMechanic. Confusing Catalogs and Sessions (although I see the pro's logic behind that), switching between catalogs takes forever and in rare instances can hang the programme. And it's not a good news, because its cataloging system is not in the same league as LR6, although not as appalling as in previous versions. Sharpening is excellent if you've got decent raw material (read "decent lens and steady hands") and just about passable if you haven't, but then it's your fault:)Ĭ1 has one huge disadvantage - it does not happily integrate with other software. The camera/lens database is where DxO outshines everything else on the market, but nearly all the decent lenses and bodies are catered for by C1. Noise reduction is perfectly adequate - in most complicated cases DxO "Prime" technology is better, but you can still tell NR has been applied, and let's be honest, with modern cameras' low light performance you'd rarely need to apply massive amounts of noise reduction. Its colour correction is the easiest to use and the most natural looking, unless you want to go mad with it - but even then you'll be pleased with the results. Then, out of sheer curiosity, I tried CaptureOne.Ĭ1 has one huge advantage - its RAW processing engine easily beats anything out there. ![]() ![]() This has been my setup for the last 16 months, and I was quite pleased with it. Hence DxO Optics Pro 10, which I use to treat RAW files from inside LR6 and then reimport them back for further manipulation. However, RAW conversion in LR6, although better than in Aperture, is still not enough for me. I would like to stress that I do not earn my living by photography and therefore have less stringent demands than most professionals. I've been using Aperture until its dying day, resisting Adobe "bloatware" and licensing policy like a lone samurai left on the battlefield surrounded by enemies:) I then bit the bullet (the sword?) and bought LR6, and was surprisingly pleased with it - it required minimal workflow adjustments, the metadata and catalogs management is way better than Apple's offering, and it's quite quick and more or less trouble-free. FYI, the software in question is now at v 9.1.1 - not yet reflected on MU. ![]() Many of us had already suspected this to be the case, but it was the careful analysis of last week’s upgrade and updates by Josh Long Chief Security Analyst at Intego, which provided the damning evidence: more than 20 of the vulnerabilities fixed in 12.0.1 have been left unpatched in 11.6.1 and Catalina Security Update 2021-007. Last week, though, the penalties with staying on Big Sur or Catalina were spelled out in starker terms: if you want all the latest security fixes, then you must run the current release of macOS, as older versions, even though still in security maintenance, don’t get them all. ![]() So too for many of the bugs which afflict macOS 11. Stick with Big Sur, and you can be confident that those bugs will never be fixed, that your windows will continue to fly around when you least want them to, and you’ll have to remember to open the Bluetooth item a second time to make any sense of its figures. It was such an obvious bug that it’s disappointing how long it has taken to fix. The problem with the charges shown in the Bluetooth menu bar item wasn’t as disruptive, but you knew that if you didn’t check that twice and relied on the first values displayed, they’d reflect trackpad and keyboard charges many hours ago. Although it didn’t affect every app, as I use both MarsEdit and Messages a lot, I often wasted time undoing these errors and restoring order to my windows. Having clicked on its window to bring it to the front, the next click(s) were misinterpreted, usually causing that window to jump, and when a double-click to hurl it into into full-screen mode. The first of those affected MarsEdit, sometimes Messages, and a few other apps. Two that spring to mind are misinterpretation of clicks/taps, which could send the windows of some apps flying across the screen, and the misleading charge figures displayed for Bluetooth devices such as wireless trackpads and keyboards. Among the bugs fixed in 12.0.1 are several which have either been damaging to workflows or downright annoying. The last version of Big Sur to receive any significant fixes, other than those of importance to security, was 11.5.2, released in August, over two months ago. I’ve already explained why this is a bad choice as far as bug-fixes go. If your Mac is currently running Big Sur or any earlier version of macOS, it’s far easier to watch what happens with Monterey over the coming couple of months before making any decision about when to upgrade. The safest choice is so often to stick with what you’ve got. ![]() However, for traditional gummy candy lovers, gelatin remains a key ingredient that provides the unique texture and chewiness that they crave. It’s important to note that not all gummy candies contain gelatin, and some brands have started using vegan-friendly alternatives like agar-agar or carrageenan. The market has adapted to this growing demand for gelling agents made from alternatives to pork, and halal or kosher alternatives are now available for popular gummy candies or treats such as marshmallows. This is good news for those who follow a kosher or halal diet, as the Jewish and Islamic faiths forbid the consumption of pork. While gelatin is most commonly derived from pork, it can also be obtained from other animal sources like beef or fish. Gelatin is odorless and tasteless, which makes it a perfect ingredient to add to foods like gummy candy and Jell-O to provide a semi-solid jiggle. It is created by boiling animal parts like bones, horns, and skin for an extended period of time until the collagen breaks down. Gelatin is a protein that is extracted from animal skin and bones, and it is commonly used in gummy candies to give them their bouncy texture. What Is Gelatin And Why Is It Used In Gummy Candies? Gelatin is derived from animal tissue like bones, skin, and cartilage, which means it’s not suitable for those following a vegan diet. It’s also worth mentioning that gummy candies, in general, are not vegan-friendly due to the use of animal-derived gelatin. The type of gelatin used in their candies varies from product to product, with some using beef gelatin instead.įor example, their halal-certified candy ranges do not contain pork gelatin and use other types of gelatin that still provide the signature delicious flavor of Trolli candies. However, it’s important to note that not all Trolli products contain pork gelatin. This means that they are not halal certified and may not be suitable for those who follow a halal diet. ![]() So, let’s dive in and find out!
